The Liberia Project took AP Member James Conley to Laurel, Maryland to conduct an interview with Ambassador Emmett Woods. Ambassador Woods and his wife were gracious in allowing James to interview and photograph them about their experiences through two civil wars. Also present were two of Ambassador Woods' grandchildren.
The interview will be part of James' ongoing Liberia Project. However, we are pleased to share a few advance images.
Member James Conley works with many Philadelphia fashion designers, boutiques, and models. A recent evening took him to an event hosted by Toile Atelier, Madalynne Flanigan (for both of whom he has previously made lookbooks) and Stick+Stone.
We are excited to be working with Chroma Hair Gallery in Olde City Philadelphia to make gorgeous fashion images which showcase the excellent work of Chroma's stylists.
Our brief for this story was to provide high-fashion portrait images which would be approachable to Chroma's clientele. These images take a European visual approach in showing timeless, casual beauty.
These images are from a set which will be used to make a medium-format, hardcover book for the salon's clients. The images will also be used for Chroma's website and social media campaigns.
The model for these images is Philadelphia fashion designer Sydney Strickler.
